Walk for a good cause this August with The Bloody Long Walk - a coastal walk on the Gold Coast that will help raise funds for people with mitochondrial disease.
Beginning at Pizzey Park near our Mermaid Beach accommodation, The Bloody Long Walk will take all participants on a scenic 35-kilometre course towards Tallebudgera Creek and Currumbin before heading back up the coastline to Broadbeach. Free to complete at your own pace with breathtaking coastal views to enjoy along the way, this exciting fundraising event is a great way to support a good cause while soaking up the beauty of the Queensland Gold Coast.
During the walk, there will be checkpoints providing water, fruit and sunscreen, ensuring that each participant makes it to the finish line. Expect a fantastic atmosphere throughout the day, along with a great crowd that will encompass all ages and backgrounds.
If you’re looking to enjoy a fun tour of the Gold Coast while supporting a worthy cause, make sure to join The Bloody Long Walk, which will take place over one whole day on Sunday, August 4.
